Rubens Ballroom
Decatur, Texas

Opening promos were interuppted by TWA trainee Colt Smith, who asked  TWA trainer and TWE Promoter Rudy Boy Gonzalez about finally being able to have a match after 5 long of training. TWA trainee Roland Hernandez interjected with a request of his own. A match between these two has been scheduled for the next TWE Texas Impact event in Decatur.

Opening match
Jacob Kilgore vs Angel of Misery
Match ended in DQ after Tim Storm interfered in match. Kilgores cousin Marshall also entered the ring in which a challenge was made to defend the Texas Tag Team titles later on that evening which are held by Team Kilgore.

2nd Match
Bobby Lambert vs McNamara
Winner: Lambert

3rd Match
Doberman vs Ashton Jacobs
Winner: Doberman

4th Match
Galan Ramirez vs Jerome Daniels
Winner: Ramirez
note...prior to the start of this match, it was announced that a new title, the Texas Cruiserweight Title would be created, and this match was to determine a qualifier for the new title.

5th Match
Texas Tag Team Title Match
Dark Circle vs Team Kilgore
Match of the night. Referee Mike Jones was accidently knocked down during the contest. 2nd referee came out to make the pin count, giving Team Kilgore the titles. Mike Jones argued that he was the official referee in the contest and ordered the match to be restarted. During he confusion Tim Storm caught Jacob Kilgore with a shot to the head with one of the tag belts, and pinning him.
Winner: Dark Circle

Notes... Original Main Event was scheduld to be RBG vs Lucha Libre star Magno. Magno was unable to appear due to travel conditions. He is being rescheduled for a later date. Crowd of around 75-80 braved the freezing conditions to attend. Special 'Thanks' to Ruben Cantu of Rubens Ballroom and XCW promoter Nite and all the crew for making this happen. It was also announced at the beginning of the show that a tournament was being put together to crown a new Texas Champion, due to the signing of former Champion American Dragon Bryan Danielson to World Wrestling Entertainment

I enjoyed the show. I thought the match ups were very well put together. The Ref Mike Jones is a wild man. After he got choked by the giant Marshall I got a picture of his expression and I thought he was going to pick up the giant and throw him out of the ring.

I do have a question. Is TWE an existing promotion and what does it stand for?

Mike Jones is a natural.  As a referee, he contributes to the match without ever pulling the attention away from the wrestlers.

TWE stands for Texas Wrestling Entertainment.  check out www.texaswrestlingentertainment.com or www.myspace.com/twe_office

Thanks Barry.
Texas Wrestling Entertainment is the sister company of Texas Wrestling Academy. A vehicle to give the TWA guys a place to work with out the worry of politics. Just go out and have a match and get better each time.
Theres some non-TWA guys that come around like Quinten Allen and Galan Ramirez that come around with the sole purpose of getting feedback on their work. Believe or not, theres not really many places around Texas where you can really get that. Like Nite said, a lot of places you hear, 'hey great match' when it really wasnt.
Lamotta comes in, Hernandez used to, Mike Foxx, Jared Steele, Nick Guidrey will be, Doberman, and Pablo are set to make some appearances, and so on.
anyone out there that wants some real feedback and can take an honest opinion are more than welcome to come in.
This also gives me a chance to see other guys than just my own so when I ever get asked for 'extras', I can send in the right guys.
