I've had the argument about results before. And when I would say results should never be easily available... fast forward to the indy promoter struggling to sell tickets. Why would the same lazy ass that stays in mom's basement until the authorities find her embalmed body ever take the time to pay for a show he can read about on Facebook, and then get the results off a board? Makes no sense.
Okay, let me, someone you don't even know, add my two cents. I'm a huge fan of pro wrestling. I've been so for over 30 years now. I grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana watching Mid-South Wrestling live and WCCW on TV. I really enjoy independent pro wrestling. The problem is that I now live in an area where the nearest promotion is over 2 hours away. I can't go to every show.
If a promotion is remotely somewhat within range, has a good web site, updates their card, shows regular posters, gives out timely results and hopefully eventually uploads the events to Youtube... then I'm a fan. I will go to their web site, I will "Like" their Facebook page and share their posts, view their videos, add their cards/posters/results to my own fan forum and buy their DVD's direct from them so they get the money. And whenever I can, I will go to the event in person and buy a ticket, take pictures, buy merchandise and have fun.
But if I don't see much from them, I begin to think that they are a small time, flash-in-the-pants promotion, here-today-gone-tomorrow, and not worth my time.
