Just an observation, but the people who made the biggest jumps in ranking from last year's Top 100 are the ones who worked numerous promotions throughout Texas, and not just the little promotions, but the big ones. If you want to get better and get noticed, get out on the road. Congratulations to everyone on the list.

thats true Barry, the trick is to get out and get noticed. There are a few "big" promos that people pay attention to in Tx. The smaller places are better as far as lockerroom atmosphere and can sometimes, I stress sometimes, be a good place for the younger cats to learn before they step it up to the big 3 or 4 ...however many there are in Tx.
Some places are very hard to get into in the state. There are alot of great workers fighting for the same spots. Booker Ts is a place that alot of guys would love to work. RCW of course is very well known but if you are a tag team that gets "over" it will be hard to get bookings as long as the Treats are in the office...whiff....
Rudy has done some great things over the years but due to peoples different opinions alot of people are pro Rudy one week and fuck Rudy the next week, I think for the most part its due to his "oldschool" mentality. I do not mean that in a bad way one bit, its good that ppl stick to their beliefs and their teachings.
Darin/Ladder/Rachael have made great strides with ACW and continue to promote the hell out of their product and their workers, even taking them to Ga and other places to work in front of a crowd. Plus , they employ Starr, so they will always get my fucking vote.
again, the smaller places are cool for different reasons. Some of them are the drizzling but its the double edge sword gimmick alot of times on that. Alot of peope would dog someone like me out for working say, NGW, while it is 100% ok for someone like Rodney to do it because #1 hes getting paid well and #2 he'll kick your ass if you overstep your bounds..LOL

I have noticed that over the years... Rodney works where ever he wants to... and nobody says anything... but let you or Seth or whoever and the crowd goes wild! I guess my only question used to be, "why work those places in Cahulawassee County with guys who look like they should be fixing my car or doing my lawn?!" But I have heard it time and again from friends of mine that.. they just want to work. Guess that explains it. But again, I'm only a commentator so what do I know?
